Yesterday, the Board of Commissioners for San Miguel County, Colorado voted to endorse the 100 Days Campaign.

To Witness Against Torture:

We understand that Friday, January 11, 2009 is the 7 year anniversary of the first prisoners being brought to Guantánamo prison and that a non-violent protest against prisoner abuse and torture will be held in Washington DC on that day.

The Board of Commissioners of San Miguel County Colorado does hereby endorse of this action and supports the *100 Days to Close Guantánamo and End Torture Campaign*. We also support efforts of the individuals and organizations supporting actions aimed at stopping prisoner abuse as well as all forms of torture.
